These bags are defective - do not buy! The zip closure easily pulls away from the side of the bag, partially or entirely, leaving gaps exposing coffee/product to air. I have sent the company many photos depicting the defect and they will not issue a refund, only a promise that if I send it back they will investigate. They will not even offer to send me a shipping label to send them back.

Highest quality, elegant construction, easily sealed with simple Teflon strip heat sealer. We are useing them to package our All Natural Powdered Laundry Soap. I must say, we've been able to fit quite a bit more product in these pouches than 12oz. VERY happy with purchase.

Rating bags are probably ok, service not so much
 
I made two orders on the same day. The first order arrived on time, 2# bag good product. However, this order of 12oz bags, never made it. THey created a shipping label but never made it to UPS for actual shipping. Ive emailed several times. Once they just replied with a tracking number (which I had anyways). Follow up email wasnt responded to. It would appear that the order wasnt processed beyond creating a shipping label. UPS reports they havent received the item for shipping. They have my money and after 2 weeks, I dont forsee getting this order.

Q: What sort of a heat sealer would be used to seal the 12 oz Kraft Stand Up Pouches (Product Number 1010-9104)? Would an impulse sealer work? Thanks for your help!

A: You can use almost any heat sealer that we offer. As long as the heating element is longer than the width of the bag, our heat sealers will have no trouble sealing this bag. Also, one thing to consider is how many bags you plan on sealing a day or per week, because a foot operated is easy to operate for longer periods of time over a hand operated one. However, a continuous band sealer is basically automated.
